This recipe provides for a delicious twist on the traditional modak incorporating apple and paneer #modak
Apple Filling: Peel and chop the apples. Transfer the chopped apples to a pan. Add water sugar and lemon juice to the pan. Cook until the apples are soft and mushy.
Transfer the cooked apples to a bowl and let them cool
Paneer Shell: Crumble the paneer and grind it to a smooth paste using a grinder. Transfer the paneer paste to a pan
Add sugar vanilla essence and milk powder to the pan. Cook until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan
Let the paneer mixture cool down
Lightly grease a Modak mold with ghee. Place a spoonful of the paneer mixture into the mold and spread it evenly along the sides
Make a dent in the center of the paneer mixture with your finger
Fill the dent with the cooked apple filling
Seal the Modak by covering the apple filling with more paneer mixture
Carefully demold the Modak
