Step 1

Prepare Add crumbled paneer, milk powder, powdered sugar and curd to a blender. Blend until you get a smooth, lump-free mixture.

Step 2

Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add cardamom powder Mix gently.

Step 3

If the batter is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk to get a smooth, thick pouring consistency.

Step 4

Grease a cake tin with a little ghee and pour in the batter. Tap the tin gently to remove air bubbles.

Step 5

Steam the cake: Heat water in a steamer or deep pan. Place the cake tin inside, cover it properly and steam on low-medium heat for about 25–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.

Step 6

Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the tin.

Step 7

Decorate with kiwi, pomegranate, makhan mishri,it beautifully as a Kanha Ji
