Step 1
In a small bowl, whip the fresh homemade white butter using a spatula until it achieves a completely smooth, uniform, lump-free, and velvety consistency.
Step 2
Add the coarsely crushed mishri crystals, cardamom powder, and saffron-infused milk directly into the whipped butter. Fold gently until everything is evenly combined.
Step 3
Lightly grease a clean modak mold with a drop of ghee. Pack the prepared Makhan-Mishri mixture tightly into the mold cavity, embedding a small mix of chopped nuts right into the center as a rich filling surprise.
Step 4
Close the mold tightly, clean off any excess mixture from the edges, and place the mold inside the deep freezer for 15–20 minutes to solidify the dairy shape.
Step 5
Gently un-mold the solid modaks onto your final presentation plate. Garnish the crowns with slivered pistachios and a fresh tulsi leaf before serving cold as sacred Prasad.
