Heat oil in a pan , until smoke comes out , then make the gas slow Now add rai , jeera , fennel seeds , fenugreek seeds, kalonji and heeng , let them splutter , then add chopped beetroot , mix it well
Now add salt and green chillies , mix nicely , cover and cook on low heat , until it becomes soft
Then add jaggery, cook further until the jaggery dissolves completely
Now add red chilli powder , amchur powder , jeera powder and black salt , mix them well
It is ready to serve
