Amla ki Khatti Meethi Launji
#PD26 Amla launji is mostly made in North India. Other spices are also added to it along with amla. This sweet and sour launji is prepared. Jaggery is added to it for sweetness.

Boil the amla in hot water. Then remove the seeds when it cools down.
The slices of amla will separate as soon as the seeds are removed. Heat oil in a pan. Tadka fenugreek seeds, asafoetida and fennel seeds in it.
Now add grated ginger and amla and mix.
Now add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix.
Now add coriander powder, coarsely ground fennel seeds, black salt, cumin powder, garam masala powder. Cut the jaggery into small pieces.
Add jaggery and keep stirring on low flame until the jaggery melts.
When the jaggery melts and starts thickening, turn off the gas.
Amla ki launji is ready. When it cools down, fill it in a glass container and keep it in the fridge. It will not spoil.
