Step 1

Peel the mango and cut it into small pieces.

Step 2

Dry in the sun for 1-2 hours

Step 3

Now, transfer the mangoes into a large bowl, add asafoetida, salt, and red chili powder, and mix thoroughly while rubbing the ingredients together.

Step 4

Place in the sun for 2- 3 days until mangoes are tender.

Step 5

No oil needed. Keep moisture-free for long shelf life.
