Rice Flour Idli

#BP26 An extremely simple and easy morning breakfast recipe prepared with rice flour and a small quantity of semolina. It is basically a quick or no-hassle idli recipe that does not require planning, soaking, grounding, or even fermentation. It is lite, and soft and more importantly takes only end-to-end 10 to 15 minutes to cook.

Step 1

Mix rice flour, semolina and curd in a mixing bowl. Add, 1/2 bowl water, salt and mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Adjust the consistency of batter by adding water slowly if required.

Step 3

Now mix eno sachet in idli batter and stir lightly. Grease idli mould properly and pour 1 tb sp idli batter.

Step 4

Now heat 1 glass water in a pressure cooker. Let water boil. Put this idli mould in pressure cooker and place the lid without weight and steam for 12 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Now open the lid and remove idli from the mould with the help of knife.

Step 6

Serve hot with sambhar or chutney.
