Egg Lachha Paratha

#LP26 Egg Lachha paratha is a popular North Indian flaky crispy layered flatbread made with whole wheat bread or all purpose flour stuffed or topped with a spicy egg mixture . I have prepared it with whole wheat flour and all purpose flour. It is easy to make delicious and perfect for lunch or dinner

Step 1

Sieve whole wheat flour and all purpose flour salt baking soda in a bowl add oil mix it properly add luke warm water and knead a semi soft dough apply oil on the dough and rest it for 15 minutes

Step 2

Make four portions of the dough roll a portion of the dough into a thin circles spread 1 tsp ghee and sprinkle a little dry flour fold the dough in a zigzag pleated way roll this pleated strip into spiral shape then flatten slightly again roll it into circle.

Step 3

Now heat a tawa on medium heat and place paratha on it cook both sides lightly with ghee until golden brown now beat eggs in a bowl mix in chopped onion green chillies green coriander salt and pepper.

Step 4

Now pour one table spoon of this egg mixture on one side of paratha and flip it again pour some egg mixture on other side of paratha pour some ghee cook both sides properly prepare all parathas like this.

Step 5

Serve with mint chutney or tomato ketchup
