Step 1

Mash the boiled potatoes well without lumps.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a pan and add the mashed potatoes.

Step 3

Cook on medium flame, stirring continuously until it turns slightly golden and aromatic.

Step 4

Add milk with soaked kesar and mix well.

Step 5

Add sugar and cook till the halwa thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.

Step 6

Garnish with chopped almonds, cashews & pistachios.
