#Aloo potato mithai for bhog or vrat ,basically , boiled and mashed potatoes ,roasted in ghee and cooked in sugar syrup till dry .Shaped as laddoos is realiy delicious recipe from easily available ingredients at home .

Step 1

stirring on slow gas for 5-7 minutes. Keep aside.

Step 2

Make sugar syrup with water and sugar. Mix with mashed potatoes and keep again on heat stirring constantly avoiding lumps till all the syrup is absorbed.

Step 3

Add cardamom powder, desiccated coconut and cashew nut powder. Remove from heat.

Step 4

cool and divide mixture into5- 6 parts. Shape them into laddoos.

Step 5

Decorate with chopped pistachios, desiccated coconut, saffron strands and glazed cherries.

Step 6

Serve the platter decorated with Tulsi leaves and fresh rose petals.
