Beyond Sandwiches: 5 Desi Snacks You Didn’t Know You Could Make In A Griller

Grillers are more than just kitchen apparatus used to make sandwiches. In fact, lots of delicious desi snacks can be prepared in the griller at high tea. Avoid underestimating the griller as a single-use appliance and make these low-calorie dishes for evening snacking.

Marinate small paneer squares in a mix of curd, spices and ginger-garlic paste. Brush with oil and prop in the griller. Serve these homemade paneer tikkas with a fresh mint chutney dip.

Paneer Tikka Squares

Stuff spiced mashed potatoes between two bread slices. Dip these in thin besan batter and place inside the griller. Cook till golden and crisp. Serve with ketchup.
